All of our accomplished players have trained in music conservatoires and have over 15 years’ experience as professional musicians in Ireland, the UK and Europe. We also work alongside some of Ireland’s finest singers, pianists and organists and would be delighted to recommend one should you desire. Whether you’re saying "I do", celebrating a special birthday or hosting a grand corporate gala, we will provide the perfect soundtrack to your special occasion.
Named after the iconic 12th century Selskar Abbey in our home town of Wexford, Ireland, Selskar Strings perform as a string quartet, trio or duo. Our repertoire covers a diverse range of music, from well-known classical favourites to rock and pop. We will work with you to tailor our music to the theme, mood, and style of your event ensuring that every note resonates with the spirit of the day. We are also more than happy to arrange special requests, nothing is too much trouble so please just ask. Let us make your special day even more memorable!
Weddings
Weddings are our forte! We will work with you to choose the perfect songs or pieces to enhance/accompany your ceremony and can make arrangements of any special requests. We can also provide background music before or after the ceremony.
Parties & Drinks Receptions
With our extensive repertoire of classical and pop or rock favourites we can provide elegant and uplifting background music for your drinks reception or birthday party, thoughtfully curating our setlists to suit each event.
